Course Description
The course offers a curriculum that is a gateway to
entry-level big data careers and a career in IT. It consists of 80 hours spread
over 40 sessions. The sessions are divided into two parts: The first part is 20
asynchronous sessions (each of one full hour duration) that contains the
theoretical part of the curriculum and the student finds it on Moodle to study
by himself, where discussions are held with the trainer during the second part
of the sessions. The second part of the sessions consists of 20 simultaneous
sessions conducted according to the virtual university systems and contains
practical topics corresponding to the theoretical sessions, which will be implemented
on special software that will be provided to the trainee during the course in
addition to solving a set of previous exam questions on theoretical ideas
related to the topic of the session. Through each of the simultaneous sessions,
the student receives training on the exam questions and how to receive them.
In addition to the above, the trainee will have the ability to design and
implement large data structures using Hadoop, which will be the focus of the
synchronous practical sessions within the course.
